Electronic notice board
Sadel, Juraj ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with internet research in order to obtain the neccessary information for the complete design and implementation of both the hardware and software parts of the electronic notice board system. The internet survey is about getting an overview, information and required features of the electronic bulletin board system. The design of the system concept is based on the description of the operation of the individual parts of the notice board, the possibility of managing and controlling the whole system. Hardware design is responsible for selecting the controller, display unit, data store and other peripherals. The design of the software deals with the design of the database model, applications for system administration and applications for displaying stored data. Based on the design, the board system is implemented. The aim of the work is to implement a functional electronic information board system.
Anonymization of users when collecting network traffic
Hamár, Lukáš ; Blažek, Petr (referee) ; Sikora, Marek (advisor)
This thesis deals with anonymization of data, which could lead to disclosure of the identity of end users in network traffic. Work describes algorithms by which individual data parts are anonymized and also tools which use these techniques for network traffic anonymization. The next part of the thesis describes construction of a laboratory network, in which is the network traffic captured, containing pcap and NetFlow data. With using of the captured data, the anonymization tools are tested and the results are compared. In the last part of the thesis is created graphical interface for one of the tested anonymization softwares.
Barcode scanner connected to a server database
Hrůzek, Jan ; Bastl, Michal (referee) ; Najman, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with barcode scanning on Raspberry Pi and subsequent work with server database system. There is a detailed analysis of principles of working of scanners and database systems and their selection for the purpose of this thesis. The settings and behavior under different conditions of the chosen scanner are analyzed and proper settings for different situations is suggested. Python is used as a programming tool, and a simple application for scanning and working with the database with a simple graphical interface, which was created as part of the work, is described along.
1D/2D code reader using Raspberri PI
Nevláčil, Jakub ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to create a service application for a 1D / 2D barcode reader on the Raspberry Pi platform. Both a graphical and a web interface were also created for this application. The application is able to read the captured 1D/2D barcode, display its content in the user interface and then send the content to the PLC. This application was programmed in Python programming language. The OpenCV library and other libraries that use the OpenCV library are used to read the barcodes. The next subject of this bachelor's thesis is also the design of the mechanics of the barcode reader module, including the selection of the camera and lighting.
Electronic notice board LCD
Chmelař, Petr ; Franek, Lešek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This paper focuse at market research with digital signages, kiosks, and the subsequent suggestion directed on the concept of the new system and its hardware parts and software. The aim of this work is grounded on creating the concept of electronic boards, which is derived from the market research. The concept of the system is describing the principle of functioning of the digital signage, possibilities of controlling and system administration itself. The suggestion of the hardware part of the system contains the selection of appropriate mechanism for realization of the software part of the system and the proposal of controlling and signaling aspects, which are suitable for communication with users.
Person Detection in Video
Marek, Lukáš ; Goldmann, Tomáš (referee) ; Dyk, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the implementation of an application for detecting people in video footage. Both the application and the detection are implemented in Python. TKinter library is used to create the application. The OpenCV library and the YOLOv4 detection algorithm, which runs on a CUDA backend but can also run on the CPU, are used for detection.
Electronic notice board LCD
Bureš, Michal ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the research of existing solutions of electronic information systems. The purpose of this survey is to inspire what is offered to users of these professional systems, or what users expect from these systems. Based on the acquired knowledge, the thesis also deals with the design of its own system, which can serve as another alternative to professional solutions of companies on the market, in the sense of the concept of solution of the given task. After the design of the system, the thesis deals chronologically with the selected "tools" used for the actual implementation of the assigned task Electronic Information Boards. Both hardware and software parts of the task, which form the majority of this thesis. At the end of the work are presented practical results.
Tool for Automatic Subtitle Alignment
Chudý, Daniel ; Chlubna, Tomáš (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
The main motivation of this work is to simplify the retiming of subtitles, where the inputs are the original and edited video files and subtitles corresponding to the original video. Example – a video editor needs to cut a scene from a video. Subtitles that correspond with the clipped part of the video must be manually removed and the subtitle part that follows the clipped part must be manually re-timed. The tool makes this work easier by automating it. From an arbitrarily edited version of the video file (cuts), the original file and the original subtitles, a version of subtitles will be created that fits the edited version of the video file. Simply put, the goal is to align the original subtitles with the edited video file. The solution is the conversion of video files to audio files (.wav, wavfile), extraction of MFCC (Mel-frequency cepstral coefficients) and subsequent mutual comparison with the Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) algorithm. From the alignment path (DTW output), signal differences (cuts in the video) are detected and subtitles are adjusted based on them. A dataset was created to test the application consisisting of public domain films and own recordings. The created application provides 69 – 90 % subtitle alignment success on a dataset that contains videos of length 1 – 60 minutes.
Linux distribution for seniors
Alkanan, Tarik ; Jablončík, Lukáš (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis focuses on modifying the operating system with a Linux kernel so that it can be run from a USB drive. The resulting system allows users to easily access the modified operating system on any computer. In addition, an app launcher was developed for seniors using the Python language and specifically designed for seniors over the age of 90. The app provides a simple and user-friendly interface that allows seniors to run commonly used applications. The results of this work are available in the Github repository.
